Experience with FCI Rally Obedience
I’ve been competing with Mandy since the first FCI PO was published, and I had my first competition in May 2024.
What I love most about FCI Rally Obedience
What I like best about FCI is that, unlike the national rules, you have to run a lot more, and it’s more fluid than national Rally Obedience. That said, I wouldn’t want to miss out on national Rally Obedience either, because I really love the multi-sign exercises too!
Best Result achieved with my Dog
We achieved our best result at the FCI RO World Championships in Austria, where Mandy and I secured a fantastic 11th place. And of course, what makes me happiest is that I’ve now been able to take part in the World Championships for the third time!
Other Dog Sports I do
Mandy, of course, also competes in national Rally Obedience and, to balance things out, does Hoopers in Class 3. Although I must say that we’re rather neglecting our Hoopers training at the moment.
Especially looking forward to
What I’m most looking forward to are lovely days with my team, our team leader and my two dogs. For me, the World Championships will simply be a 10-day holiday in good company!

I’ve been doing the FCI exercises with Cassy, that is only just over 2 years old, for a year now. As my initial aim was to reach the highest class in national Rally Obedience, we did not start competing in FCI competitions before we achieved that goal. Cassy went into her first FCI competition in November 2025.

The attention to detail and the possible complexity of courses is very exciting.

Maisy is German dhv German Champion and vdh German vize Champion and made it to the finals in Tullin.
Other Dog Sports I do
Maisy has no time for other sports as she is busy training for national and international Rally O.
Especially looking forward to
I love going to world championships because of the international flair - meeting old friends and making new friends and of course, to have the opportunity to work on demanding courses!

In 2024, Key and I were FCI Rally Obedience Champions and in 2025 we received our first CACIROB certificate.

Key is also competing in Class 2 in Agility and Hoopers.

Cloverleaf's greatest achievement was taking first place on Day 1 of the German Championship in the FCI class.

Cloverleaf is also trained in Agility and Hoopers.

What excites me most is the precise work and the subtle communication between dog and handler.

My best result with Aragon is 97 points in FCI Rally Obedience, which we achieved this year.
Other Dog Sports I do
I don’t take part in any other dog sports with Aragon. We simply don't have the time for that.
